Arrive, check in, relax – and all without any hassle! With your phone or at the terminal, you can open your hotel room in seconds. No waiting, no paperwork – just enjoy right away. And the best part? At the same time, you are also making a contribution to sustainability. We will show you how to master self check-in with ease!
You have two ways to get into your room.
Check in via app
The easiest way is with the Hotelbird smartphone app (Android / iOS). Download it to your smartphone and register. Then you can search for your booking in the app, check in with the app and your room key will be loaded onto your smartphone on the day of arrival. When you are at the hotel, hold your smartphone in front of the black sensor and click the round button on your smartphone screen showing your room number. You can then open the door right away. It works exactly the same way upstairs at your room.
Check in with door code
Alternatively, there is also our check-in terminal. On the day before your arrival, you will receive an email from us with the door code for the hotel entrance. When you are at the hotel, you will easily find the check-in terminal and can check yourself in there and have a key card issued, just like you know from other hotels.
Additional key cards
In addition to the Hotelbird app, you are also welcome to get a few key cards from the check-in terminal. Key cards and the app also work perfectly well when used in parallel.

When we founded KONCEPT HOTELS, we wanted to show that hospitality can also be done differently – more modern, uncomplicated and digital. When you travel, you check in with your smartphone at the airport, navigate through the city, pick up your car-sharing vehicle and book accommodation via app. So why not rely on digital processes in hotels as well? In many areas, digital has long since become part of everyday life – only in hospitality had it not really arrived yet. We changed that!

No question about it: a digital hotel also means that you actively play a part. You take work off our hands and help us operate more efficiently. We consciously invest the money saved in things that matter to us and that mindful travelers like you appreciate.
We rely on 100% green electricity, support sanitation projects with our toilet paper, offer sustainably produced soaps and focus on furniture from Europe as well as tradespeople from the region. Our laundry bags are printed in an inclusive workshop, and last but not least, fair treatment of everyone who works with and for us is important to us.
